Tour plans
Day 1- Senaru Village – Plawangan Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m)
- Starting Point: Senaru Village (601 m) – 8:00 AM
- Begin trekking through a dense tropical rainforest, home to unique wildlife and lush vegetation.
- Stop for lunch at Pos 2 (1,500 m) while enjoying the fresh mountain air.
- Continue trekking to Plawangan Senaru (2,641 m), where you'll set up camp with an incredible view of Segara Anak Lake.
Day 2- Segara Anak Lake – Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m)
- After breakfast, descend for 2 hours to Segara Anak Lake (2,000 m).
- Relax and soak in the natural hot springs, known for their healing properties.
- Have lunch by the lake, with views of Mount Barujari, the active volcano inside the crater.
- In the afternoon, begin the challenging 3-4 hour ascent to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m), passing steep trails with breathtaking views.
Day 3- Rinjani Summit – Sembalun Village (1,156 m)
- 2:30 AM: Wake up early for the final 3-hour push to the Rinjani Summit (3,726 m).
- Experience the most challenging section of the trek, with steep slopes and loose volcanic sand.
- 6:00 AM: Reach the summit in time for a breathtaking sunrise with panoramic views of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and even parts of Flores.
- Descend back to Plawangan Sembalun for breakfast.
- Continue the descent through savanna grasslands to Sembalun Village (1,156 m), stopping for lunch along the way.
- Arrive in Sembalun Village around 4:00 PM, where transportation awaits to take you back to your destination.
